Why did you choose the Biosciences PhD programs at Stanford University?
I chose to come to Stanford for the campus and research environment. Because the Biosciences encompasses many Home Programs, you have easy access to all the latest research technologies and potential collaborations across different departments.
Describe your research.
I study mechanisms of DNA methylation and gene expression involved in cellular plasticity, and changing cell fate using the iPS and heterokaryon models of nuclear reprogramming.
